Another attempt at a no tree spirit all Asrai list. I think I'm getting a bit closer here to a competitive list.

The general's unit is the cornerstone of the list. Banner of springtide is an underused banner in my opinion and many people don't expect it. Having the ability to always stand and shoot with my lord tends to be fun.

I've thought about dropping the alter noble for a waywatcher noble instead. A waywatcher noble with blight of terrors can be an asset to the army.

Anyone think I'm on the right track here? Opinions or changes?

I like the list but your lord seems very, very vulnerable both to combat and to sniping attacks (magic, shooting, etc...). I think you need to consider the annoyance + 6up Ward or the Stone of the Crystal Mere (I personally love this both for the ward and the element of chance).

I am a huge fan of alter nobles so I would recommend keeping him in there especially since you don't have any other great long range CC threat.

I think I would also recommend adding an eagle. For 50 pts, they just have so much utility and are great at pulling out frenzied troops, fanatics, etc... It might improve your list in your opponents eyes as well with slightly less shooting.

Regardless of any changes, it looks both fun to play and to play against.

I've since changed the banner of springtide to the warbanner.

I've also debated dropping the amber pendant in favour of stone of crystal mere.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to do and who you are expecting to fight.
I dont normally take Eternal Guard so I cant really make educated comments. I would think about Rhymers harp. It will give your HB a nice ward and the rest of the unit. You also get a little bit more manouverability. You have a very resilient unit which is not hampered by terrain.
I am not sure about the shooting HB in the unit of Eternal Guard. You have plenty of other shooting in other units. The two units of Waywatchers give you good anti armour shots and 30 Glade Guard and 10 Glade Riders are heaps. If you are putting him in the EG then I think the harp or some comabt oriented gear. I like the amber pendant as a GW with it will cause all sorts of damage even if you get charged. You should have +5 SCR and then you get to hit first with a GW. Though unfortunately its the harp or the pendant not both.
