We'll see how it goes, but I thought I'd just like to remind the Administrators that redusing the number of fora was an idea voiced by several back at the old page, and right now you've increased the number. I hope we can manage to use them all, but personally I would suggest merging at least the army list forum into the General Discussion. But I guess it would be wise to wait till after the opening has been "officially" announced.

Little more to say... The old forum used only 2-3 fora regularly. This forum should grow a lot to get all forums filled with posts.
I think the Hallsof Loec could accomodate the modelling aspect too, and the general discussion can take the general's tent AND the armoury for now.
Maybe in the future the growth will require new forums, but I think it's a bit much now.

I agree, but I would like to see the Halls of Loec independently preserved. It is explicitly intended for fluff related fiction and not really intended for general discussion. If it were to be assimilated into another forum, then there would be almost no encouragement for Gladers to write fiction and offer them to the Glade. without a seperate page this idea might just get lost in the sauce, and I know at least that I would like to have the option available.
of course, if I'm the only one who uses it, then....
I think that the Glade of woe and the General's Tent should merge. After all, Battle Reports (i.e. experience) can be some of the best generators of tactical discussion.
I'm not sure exactly what the Kings Glade is supposed to do. The rules should be a stickey in general discussion. I just don't know what kind of topics I would bring up there that wouldn't be better in one of the other forum pages.

Ok, that was bad... *Bad frecus!*
Anyway, I'm intending to start drawing again. Some wood elven drawings (along the lines of my avatar) wouldn't go amiss methinks.
Though you ARE right about merging the halls would provide less incentive, I think posting art there could counterbalance that.
But oh, well, it's up to the mods.

As a general rule of thumb when it comes to web design, less is more.
Start out small, close and tight, when those few forums get too crowded, expand into new forums. That's the easiest and best way. However, the battle Glade has already a good community with decent activity. Maybe the current amount of forums will be just right. Only time will tell.

All good points from everyone. The Admin was concerned about the number, but these were the "logical" sub-fora to create having polled/peeked at other sites. Growing pains will see changes.

I just think we should separate Beyond the Forests Eaves into 2 forums. One which would be totally offtopic, and meant for discussion of every day mundane things (movies, books, etc etc), that way you get to know people who post here, and make a better community, the other would deal with other game systems...
Just my 2 quarters...
