Well, we returned with loot! I will let you know when pix are up but to fill you in...

Silver in Fantasy Monster with my Ancient treeman

bronze in unit for my wild riders

finalist but no trophy in single with my spellsinger with butterfly wings

Best Apperance for my army in the fantasy tournament (massacre vs empire, minor loss to second - open field vs brets ugh! and solid victory vs vamps) so 2 wins 1 loss

I had a great time but not enough time to look at all the golden demon entries, I did see other wood elf entries though so maybe GW will put some up soon.

Congrats on the prizes, but pics would be VERY appreciated.

I'd be interested in a report of your game against vampires, if possible.

Congrats on the finely won prizes. I agree with Elhänn about the pictures. Can't wait to see them.

Here's some better shots of the Demon Winners, and some enlargeable photos.

Tree looks good on SOL, so does the Chariot

I'm having a hard time with the placement of the Wild Riders, I mean, Dylan's and awesome painter, it's just curious how your completely converted Riders came in Bronze after the Flagellants. I could understand the Ogres, they were sweet, but you made a great looking unit of Wild Riders, fully converted and full of tiny details. I wonder what the judges didn't like.

I envy you. The treeman is too awesome and the wild riders, well I can't find the words to describe them. Maybe the best minis I've seen and certainly the best wild riders.

I think that the spellsinger would be better without the wings, they look too static compared to the rest of the model. The paint job however is amazing. It must take ages to paint so well.

Aelorien, your Spellsinger is now on GW's Honorable Mentions, maybe it'll be in White Dwarf. She looks pretty good in the pics, which is rare this year.

Hey there! My Forest Dragon was proud to stand next to your treeman in the display case!! You should have got the gold over the spawn! One teeny little spawn took Gold- that is sad. I considered him small monster- not large!

The Wild Riders and Spellsinger were awesome as well! My treekin and mounted spellsinger were there with yours too. Great job, too bad I did not meet you there!

Yeah, that Spawn was nice. But I was hoping that the Beast Chariot would win gold....

I remember your Dragon. Made First Cut, if I recall. Congrats.

Hey Dalanshin, THANKS! Sorry we didn't meet up, I was busy playing in the fantasy tournement. Because of that I didn't get to see a lot of the entries. from what I've been told it sounds great.

CHaos MD, could it be you wanted the chariot to win more becuz its yours? :P

(for you wood elves, check out Chaos MD's avatar, its the severed elven head from his beast chariot - I think there is a weasel in the hen house)

I thought we all wanted to win!

Oh and to all you Wood Elves, Aelorien has personally told me that he may consider playing Beasts AGAIN, when the new book comes out! It appears there are two weasels in this hen house. And one of them is a Premium Poster. And he has been sabotaging Wood Elves with his Tactic articles for years. Well, I can't prove that last part. But I've seen his Beastmen stuff!

You'll be back to Chaos sooner or later. Then you can go post on the Herdstone!

You misspelled the first "your" in your sig! Go fix it, these Wood Elves are your followers, don't lead them astray with typo-filled sigs. They deserve better...they should play Beasts!

I have to admit-
I collect beasts to... they just look so damn cool!
Plus it gives my elves some target practice late at night.

PS: Aelorien- my dragon pics are up on my site:

in the miniatures section
