Whoa! that is cool, love the brown dragon! It really helps all the vines & leaves show up. I like the rider too (I really like that miniature anyways) never thought of using him on the dragon. Good work and congrats on making first cut!

Great minis, Jeff! :)

Dylan and Bennett are both part of the local scene here, and I can (to the best of my limited paint judging abilities anyway) attest to the quality of their entries.

From what I've seen, I don't think I can describe the quality of Dylan's work. He'll get a sword, probably next time at Baltimore. So do you know them? If so, why are you typing on a forum when you could be painting with these guys?

I gotta say I was very impressed with Dylan's work, and agree with Chaos MD, he will have a sword soon. I think I could learn a lot from someone who's half my age
Cal, if you can ask him to contact me I would love to pick his brain a little. He beat me in every category I entered, so hats off to him! Does he play or just paint?

No doubt. Then I'll pick your brain, Aelorien.

Dylan plays, too. He's picked up a few RTT wins over the last couple of years, and just missed beating me on tiebreakers at our last big RTT.

I don't get down to the store much on Thursday nights anymore, but next time I go I will pass the word along. Have you got an email address that I could give him?

Edit: Just checked my PM inbox. I will pass those messages on to him as soon as I can.

Do not get to excited of the gladers artistic talents.

Not all of us were born with a fine detail brush in our hand. Aleorien Darkthorn and Domus are true exceptions.

Yep, look at a Frechet distribution and take into account a very small stan. dev.

Welcome to the Glade Jayz!

Welcome to the glade, Jayz. As others have said (and also replying to your post in domus's thread, too), don't be scared

Not everyone is as good as domus or Darkthorn and anyway, the worst possible thing is getting some advice to improve. So, don't be shy, and pst your pics.
