Very good looking minis. The wild rider conversions are really good. I cant imagen how much money and time you have spended on the eternals and wild riders. My eternal guard unit includes 3 maiden guard, but they are not converted. Keep on the good work.

Well I've actually got some painting done in the last month or so. I was getting ready for a touranment with my dragon, so I suppose I should throw him in here .. .

This is the New Mounted Lord, on a 3rd Edition Dragon, with 6th Ed Dragon wings. I've posted him before, but I will try and keep most of my WE pictures here now . .

And I am running him with my Dual unicorn List, the 1st rider is above (somewhere . . . ) I needed a second so I picked up the HE unicorn rider, and sent her down the Feral roadpath with:
Lots crazy hair
A tweak of the helmet to make a swan.
A dragon spite (Bret. Helmet + GS) woven through the wair.
Some 7th ed spite bits.

More to follow . . .

I have also finnaly painted up the Glade Riders.

I enjoyed gluing these together, but had a terrible time painting them. I kept botching the detail.

I like how the horse turned out though . . . My family raised "paints" as a kid and it brings me back a bit.

Very nice models. I had never seen the 3rd ed dragon. It looks great.

Im not sure on the swan helm, but it certainly enchances the fantasy feel of your army. Many GW models lack the fantasy feeling nowadays, which is a shame.

Thanks,

I was mainly tying to make the helmet look less " high elfy", note its not supposed to be an actual swan, just a sylized helmet . . . And the tall helmit helps take away from the squat rider . .

you did great with the parts that you had, the Swanhelm was a nice touch.

The shading on the Unicorn is smooth, very natural looking. I like it a lot.

And the bases look really good too. Great job all around.

Here are some picture of My base, I put togheter a few months ago. I used it for the Quake city rumble list. I got hammered for paint scores which was a little disapointing. The hay 5 categories. Basic - Standard - Tournament - Master - and Heavy Metal (not sure about the names) and I fell int the the standard, . The reqs of Torurnament was 3 colors, some shadding, 2 levels of flock , some conversions. I would think I covered thise . . . hmm well artistic interpretation I suppose, I have place pretty high in paint at other venues.

The Trey is pretty basic (plywood with crown molding), I was going for nice clean look but I think I will jazz it up as the minis do look pretty crowded. I'm gonna try and add in a big tree where I can place some more minis. That should help the congestion and give it a bit more drama.

A little Crowded, but pretty 'f'n sweet I'd say. I really like the Waystones.

Good idea about the Crown molds. I think it gives it a nice 3D look to it.
